Political Ads are highly specialized. It requires a perfect blending of a core message and effective transport system- a hook, premise or a "relatable".
Now, please understand- We are the last people to get "preachy" about things. We are not moralists, nor is it our place to judge. Our approach is strictly from a pragmatic point of view.
Certainly, campaigns can always fall back on a strictly negative strategy, also known as "attack ads". And, while they often attain the desired result in the short term (i.e. chipping away at the opponent's numbers), there is often an unwanted fallout that accompanies such action.
So... don't waste money on media ventures that can only offer more of the same DULL, unimaginative, lowest-common-denominator ideas.
Negative campaign ads are the action of a desperate campaign. If you have nothing positive to offer, and much to hide... by all means, go negative.
